“Coach Your Athletes for Eternity, not just a season"

Miracle League

The goal of the Association of Catholic Coaches and Athletes (ACCA) is to get Catholic Middle and High Schools and Colleges Coaches and Student-Athletes of all sports to join the ACCA at their local Miracle League field (or any named facility that serves the disabled population playing baseball), to “buddy” with the participants.

The ACCA does a Fall Fundraiser each year to raise money, so they’re able to sponsor Miracle League Teams and Outfield Signs where there’s a Catholic School who’s onboard with volunteering one night or day at their local league.

Click HERE to see Barry Dean’s 2018 Miracle Tour Video in Alabama, where he volunteered at all the ML’s throughout Alabama, while having high school and college baseball teams and coaches join him. He did this for 14 years, as 125+ teams joined him during this team. Many went on their own as well.

Barry also held a dinner for 17 years in Montgomery, Alabama, where he raised approximately $400,000 total to give to the Miracle Leagues. He put together a current video of each years ML tour as well to show to his dinner attendees.

By November 2026, a list will be comprised and posted here, of Miracle Leagues in cities where there’s a Catholic High School or College, and the contact person and their contact information, in order for Coaches to set up visits. Barry will also reach out personally to Catholic School Athletic Directors about getting their Coaches and Athletes to meet him at their local ML field.

You may contact Barry Dean – ACCA President, on his cell phone at: 334-676-0434, with any questions about “buddying” and what it entails. This experience can be life-transforming for the Coaches and Athletes who volunteer.
